Peppy's Poodle Rescue

Welcome to Peppy's Poodle Rescue

About image
Peppy's Poodle Rescue was founded in October of 2015. Since that time we have 5 volunteers located throughout the United States. Our mission is to unite the Humane Community of Ohio while simultaneously educating the public about responsible pet ownership.

The ASPCA says that about 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide annually. Over the course of each year 2.7 million animals are euthanized. About 35% of shelter dogs are adopted; and 37% of shelter cats.

Our goal is to increase adoptions of companion animals in Ohio,  and lower the total number of animals euthanized each year. We hope to reach these goals through education and community outreach programs. Peppy's Poodle Rescue \ is registered with the Ohio Department of Agriculture Division of Animal Health in accordance with Ohio Re+vised Code 956.06 Animal Rescue License. No person shall operate an animal rescue for dogs without first registering with the director of agriculture in accordance with rules under section 956.03 of the Revised Code. No registration fee shall be charged to an animal rescue for dogs. The director shall maintain a database of all persons that are registered to operate an animal rescue for dogs in this state. For questions or to verify our registration please contact Candice Miller at 614-728-6285.
